Become a Personal Care Attendant! – Join A Class

Seniorcorp offers you the ability to become a Personal Care Attendant!  Our certification program is customized to be thorough, interesting, and designed for individuals with busy schedules.

Seniorcorp’s two-week PCA Certification Program allows you to receive comprehensive training while giving you the opportunity to quickly begin working. Classes are held at our offices 9 AM12 Noon Monday – Friday for two weeks.  There is also additional homework and take home materials that you will need to study on a daily basis.

The Personal Care Attendant Certification is valid throughout Virginia, so if you move or change jobs, your certification is portable to other Virginia employers.  After completing your program, you may be oriented as a Seniorcorp employee and work directly with seniors in their homes.

The training program is very affordable. Seniorcorp subsidizes the training costs so that the total fee is much less than other PCA training classes. A small, up-front monetary commitment is required.

To be accepted into the program, and as an employee, you must have a clean background, be drug-free, and have good references, a vehicle, a valid Virginia driver’s license, and auto insurance. We look for candidates who have a heart for others and have experience with seniors, either professionally or with family members.
