Medication Management

Your elderly loved one may take several different daily prescription medications – many older adults do. Seniorcorp services include:

• Keeping track of their clients’ medications
• Reminding them to take their prescribed medications
• Monitoring their clients for any effects (increased dizziness or confusion) of taking multiple medications
• Serving as an advocate with the doctor and pharmacist. While Seniorcorp staff cannot administer medications, they can:
• Help their client understand when, and under any food restrictions, to take each medication;
• Keep a list of all medications, their dosages, and the time of day they need to be taken;
• Review their client’s medications, side effects, and possible drug interactions with their doctor and/or  pharmacist at each visit.
